A unique technology to simulate CNC grinding and polishing processes, specifically developed by asphericon, enables the utmost precision on your aspheric surfaces. In comparison to standard processes, the asphericon technology works up to 75% faster and masters almost any shape and size.

In addition, all production parameters are recorded for each project and saved in an internal database system. This guarantees the traceability of all process steps and reproducibility at any time.

With asphericon ION-FinishTM and Magnetorheological Finishing-Technology® (MRF), it is now possible to process challenging aspheric optics in serial production for the first time. Thanks to this procedure, shape deviations are achieved that significantly exceed the current international standard.

If every photon counts or high laser output is involved, scattered light should not be an issue thanks to the novel asphericon Ångström-Polishing, which enables roughness values of 5 Å (Rq according to ISO 10110) to be achieved on all aspheric surfaces.

A specially developed and integrated database system enables measurement results from all manufacturing steps to be documented, evaluated precisely, and accessed at any time.
