Change in Leadership of asphericon GmbH

Jena, 22.10.2025 – After 25 years in executive management, co-founder Sven R. Kiontke is stepping down from his role at asphericon GmbH. He was instrumental in positioning the company as a globally recognized specialist in aspheric optical systems. The current leadership team is driving this strategy forward, ensuring continuity and setting the course for further growth.

A Visionary Founder

Mr. Kiontke’s vision and determination laid the foundation for asphericon’s success. His drive to pursue new ideas and overcome challenges has been central to strengthening the company’s innovative edge. Looking back, he said: “Working with this team has always been a true source of inspiration. Together, we achieved ambitious goals that many once thought out of reach. After many years of dedicated leadership, Mr. Kiontke has decided to step down from executive management. As he turns 50, he explained that this is a time to explore new opportunities and reflect on future goals.
